An Ogwashi-Uku High Court in Delta State has sentenced a 23-year old student, Aruhor Ezekiel, to death by hanging for robbing another student of N2,000 at gunpoint.

According to Radar Online the couple plan to have two ceremonies in France and one in Southern California for legal purposes. The Paris wedding date is rumored to be May 24th.
To avoid long lines and red tape, a source tells RadarOnline.com, the couple’s lawyers recommended they hold a civil ceremony in the United States prior to their French nuptials on May 24.
“Typically, the U.S. recognizes citizens getting married in France, but dealing with a foreign government and paperwork could be a nightmare,” the insider explains. “So just to make sure it’s legal, Kim and Kanye will first be having a civil ceremony in Southern California.”
Next, the couple will cross the Atlantic for their dream ceremony in Paris— and French law dictates that there be two wedding ceremonies.

Virgin Australia plane forced to land in Bali over fears of a hijack
The pilot sent a distress signal to airport authorities and the plane was cleared to land in Bali so the situation could be dealt with. BBC reports that immediately the plane landed, the drunk passenger, who had been overpowered by the crew and handcuffed him, was arrested at the airport.
Virgin Australia told ABC News that there has been a medical emergency aboard the plane but everything had been settled though the aircraft still remains on the tarmac at Bali’s Denpasar airport.

Met my girlfriend five years ago as we both came into university together. We started dating and in our third year she got pregnant which we had to quietly removed because we both were not prepared. Now we are both done with NYSC and in search of better paying jobs. The thing is she developed a sickness over the last one year which has been financially demanding. Her parents have sold all they can to keep her healthy and with the explanations from the doctors, her healing is far from now. I do believe in miracles but am worried if I can cope with the financial burden of her health when we get married as I am just about to start life myself.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, the entertainer visited the victims at the Asokoro District Hospital, Abuja in company of the FCT Health Secretary, Dr Ademola Onakomaiya.
During his visit, D'banj said the government alone cannot do all that is required for peace to reign in the country.
"I am a Nigerian and I am affected by any tragedy that befalls us and particularly in the spirit of Easter, I came to show the victims support. I have seen that the survivors are responding positively to treatment and thanked the medical team here for the efforts.
"We are appealing to the perpetrators of these acts to have a rethink and support the peace initiative so that our people would not be subjected to such wickedness,” he said.

Three survivors of the Nyanya bomb blast that killed over 70 people in Nigeria’s capital Abuja last week and left hundreds more injured recounted their stories in T.B. Joshua’s church this weekend, attributing their survival to Divine providence.
Candidus Ebge from Benue State said that he was in a public vehicle about to approach the popular bus depot when the explosion occurred. “The next thing I could see was our car in the air, far above human height,” Egbe testified in The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) in Lagos. “The car then landed back on the ground with force,” he continued. “I don’t know how but I found myself outside the vehicle on the other side of the road. I never struggled to come out.” According to Candidus, the person sitting beside him in the vehicle was among the casualties. Remarkably, he didn’t sustain any injury.
Nigerian Student found dead in Bangladeshi Lake
A 26year old Nigerian student, Tahir Manni Adam, studying at the Islamic University of Technology, Gazipur, Bangladesh has been found dead inside the lake in the school.
According to reports from a local newspaper in Bangladeshi, Dhaka Tribune, Adam, a third year student of Computer Science had gone to the lake to have a bath but unfortunately drowned. According to police reports, his body was recovered from the lake around 10.45pm on Saturday, April 19th and was declared dead on arrival at the Tongi Government Hospital. His body was later taken to Dhaka’s Samorita Hospital.
Registrar of the school, Ahsan Habib while confirming the incident said an inquiry has been ordered by the school on the incident and a case has been filed with a police station in Bangladesh
