A policeman was allegedly killed on Wednesday while trying to prevent the bomber from driving into the Emab plaza, Abuja to wreck maximum havoc and increase the casualty rate.

The policeman who apparently saved thousands from being killed, was said to have stopped the driver of the bomb-laden car from driving into the plaza when he attempted to jump the queue of cars that were driving into the plaza.

Suarez banned nine matches, four months over biting

Luis Suarez was on Thursday handed a four-month ban from all football-related activity after being found guilty of biting Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini in Tuesday's World Cup clash in Brazil.

Over 100 Buried In Southern Kaduna

Over 100 persons, mostly children and women, were yesterday afternoon buried in mass grave yards in the troubled Southern Kaduna region of Kaduna state.
They were the victim of a series of gunmen attacks in about five villages in Sanga Local Government area from Tuesday into Wednesday in which the assailants sacked villagers and burnt down their houses.

Tanker explosions in Lagos

Two explosions occurred in Apapa, Lagos on Wednesday night, with sources claiming that five persons died while many were injured.

Sources told our correspondent that the explosions occurred almost at the same time, with the first at the entrance to the Folawiyo tank farm and the other inside the facility

An explosion as occurred at a popular Emab Plaza on Aminu Kano Crescent in Wuse 2, Abuja, which happened around 4pm. The explosion is said to have occurred at the gate of the very busy plaza and six people have been confirmed dead with at least 15 people injured. We will update you soon

Bombing hits Kano

An explosion has occurred at the School of Hygiene in Kano on Monday afternoon, with an undetermined number of fatalities and injuries at the site. The bombing is reported to be extensive.
The bombing took place near a building, reported to be near the private residence of Nigeria’s Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Dahiru Abubakar.

'Men of the Strip' star Nate Estimada dies at 24 after suicide plunge

This is really unbelievable. This fine boy  has the body that most men wold die to have. Nate Estimada, one of the stars of male revue and E! reality movie 'Men of the Strip' (male stripping), committed suicide on Wednesday June 18th by driving his car off a cliff, TMZ reports

The 24-year old reportedly drove his Mustang in a mountainous area near the City of Industry in L.A. County during the daytime and accelerated off the cliff, dropping at least 40 ft. into a landfill.

 Authorities have determined the plunge was intentional and they're conducting toxicology tests to determine if drugs were in Estimada's system. Continue...
