Woman Bites Off Friend’s Lip Over Gossip
A 32-year-old woman has been arrested and charged before Isolo Magistrates’ Court for allegedly biting her friend’s lower lip during a fight at Ajao Estate, Lagos State, western Nigeria.
The victim, Ada Joy Samuel, lost a part of her lower lip after she engaged Ejiofor Chioma in a street fight over allegation by Chioma that Ada was spreading gossip with her name.
The incident happened at Canal Extension, off Itanola Drive, Ajao Estate, Lagos where the two friends reside.

Female child thief nabbed, stripped & clubbed to death in Owerri
A suspected child thief was Tuesday nabbed, stripped naked and clubbed to death in Owerri, Imo State capital.
The middled aged woman, who was identified simply as Chioma, was allegedly caught while trying to steal a baby boy at the Ogugba Park, in Owerri municipality.
It was gathered that before the angry mob snuffed life out of the alleged child thief, she was made to confess her sins.
Nigerian government reduces electricity tariff by 50%

The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission today announced the immediate review of electricity tariffs by about 50 per cent.
The Chairman of the Commission, Sam Amadi, who announced the review in Abuja, said the reduction, which takes effect from the end of March, followed the regulatory agency’s decision to remove collection losses from customer tariff under the multi-year tariff order.
