A suspected car bomb ripped the city of Kano. The bomb went off at a crowded entertainment joint. The blast on a busy road lined with bars in the predominantly Christian area of Sabon Giri, could be heard several kilometers away. Though Channels Televesion puts the figure of those killed to be 10, eye witness rather said they were more than 25.
