PHOTONEWS: Movie Stars, Musicians And Civil Activists Stage Protest in Lagos

A rally in Lagos recently attracted Afrobeat musician, Femi Kuti, Yoruba movie star, Jide Kosoko, leader of Women Arise civil society group, Joe Okei-Odumakin. Several activists and entertainment artistes on parade include Iyabo Ojo, Ayo Badmus, Doris Simon, Foluke Daramola and several activists and entertainment artistes. The group staged a walk to the Lagos State Government secretariat in Ikeja as part of a growing movement that has intensified a campaign for the return of 234  girls abducted in Chibok Local Government area of Borno State.

    Foolish Nigerian celebs almost a month after the abduction they are just protesting. Am sure they were paid to protest. #SMH.
