Sahhara Henson Nigeria’s first openly transgender woman was on July 18, in Phillipines crowned the winner of The World Transgender Pageant – Super Sireyna Worldwide.
For those who do not know Sahhara was born a boy lived in Nigeria and underwent gender reassignment in the UK where she now lives as a woman.

Saharra took to her Facebook to excitedly announce the news of her win, she wrote
OMG! I WON! I am still not sure it is a reality! Maybe I’ll wakeup from this amazing dream in a minute! My arm is turning red from me constantly pinching myself to wakeup from this beautiful dream! I am overwhelmed with love! Philippines is truly my home away from home.
